Good to me: A 1-Hour Zoom Workshop with Padraig O’Morain

with Padraig O’Morain on Zoom

Zoom 22nd July 7-8pm Ireland/UK time

7 pm - 8pm Ireland/UK time 22nd July.

What does "good to me" mean?

If you said someone was "good to me" you would mean they were supportive of you, that they had your best interests at heart. This event is about cultivating that same mindset towards yourself.

Many people don't. Instead, they talk to themselves like their own harshest critic.

Who is this event for?

This event is for anybody who suspects they are harder on themselves than they would ever be on a friend.

What happens in the event?

In this one-hour event, we will look at what it means to be good to yourself, at the obstacles that get in the way — especially the inner critic — and at practical ways to cultivate a mindset of self-support in daily life.

You will receive material following the event to help you to practise what you have learned.

I will also send anyone who books a link to a recording of the event (which won't identify anybody except myself). If you're not free to watch the event live, don't worry — everyone who books will get access to the recording and in fact most people opt to watch the recording instead.

Who I am

I am a counsellor and mindfulness teacher and the author of books published in several countries and languages. My books include Kindfulness and Acceptance. My newsletter, The Daily Bell, has been published every day since 2012. In a previous career, I wrote about health and social affairs for The Irish Times.

Things people say about my Zoom events:

“Everyone should attend one of Padraig's classes. The difference between this & most mindfulness courses I've done is that he gives concrete examples of situations where one can apply change. Very down-to-earth and educational at the same time.” 2021

“The one-hour event went by quickly. It was relaxing, insightful, and enjoyable, made all the more special by the international group of participants. Padraig is a skillful and compassionate teacher.” 2020

“You can quote me as saying, uplifting, empowering and so worth while.” 2021
