Happiness hour

We can't order happiness off a menu but we can make a space for it when it shows up. And we can drop behaviours such as rumination which block happiness. Learn how to cultivate a pro-happiness approach in your daily life at this one-hour event.

What will I learn during the session?
  • How to make a space for happiness
  • How to change attitudes that block happiness
  • Easy ways to welcome happiness into your daily life.
What happens during the event?
We will do some simple mindfulness exercises to help you make a space for happiness. I explain how learning to spot happiness when it randomly occurs can make such a difference to your well-being. Later I will email material to help you practise what you have learned.  This will include a link to an edited (so that participants are not identified) video of the event.

I have practised mindfulness since the late 1980s, have taught mindfulness throughout Ireland and in London, have demonstrated mindfulness on ITV, RTE and TV3 and have had books on mindfulness published in several countries and several languages. These include  Kindfulness – be a true friend to yourself with mindful self-compassion.   My aim is to make mindfulness and mindful self-compassion easily accessible to people in their everyday lives.
