In this simple and pleasant mindfulness practice we look at small flowers at the base of a tree which I filmed in the Croppy Memorial Park in Dublin.
As you watch you do two things. First you are watching without thinking about or analysing anything. Second, you maintain an awareness of your breath as you watch.
This is a useful practice since we try to be mindful as we go about our day.
You could extend this practice to looking at flowers, trees or shrubs on a walk with breath awareness. Or you could be aware of a breeze on your face or sounds around you.
