“I really enjoyed this morning. So nice to just stop and breathe.” L.D. (Ireland, email)
“I am delighted to have been able to attend today’s event.” A.G.S. (Spain, email)
“I thoroughly enjoyed your event this morning and was copiously note taking when I wasn’t doing the mindfulness exercises.” P.R. (UK, email)
We begin with a simple exercise that you can do very easily at home, at work and elsewhere.
I explain what self-compassion and gratitude are and why adding them deliberately into your day can make such a difference to your well-being.
Later we will do other exercises in self-compassion, gratitude and mindfulness.
You will hear about the benefits of self-compassion and gratitude for lowering stress and improving well-being; how these practices can improve your relationships; and how how gratitude is helpful even in challenging situations.
I have practised mindfulness since the late 1980s, have taught mindfulness throughout Ireland and in London, have demonstrated mindfulness on ITV, RTE and TV3 and have had books on mindfulness published in several countries and several languages. These include Kindfulness – be a true friend to yourself with mindful self-compassion. My most recent book is Daily Calm – 100 daily reminders to help you build the mindfulness habit. My aim is to make mindfulness and mindful self-compassion and gratitude easily accessible to people in their everyday lives.
What you learn will be enough to enable you to enjoy the benefits of self-compassion and gratitude in your life, starting straight away.
