We will do three simple exercises to help you cultivate self-compassion.
I explain what self-compassion is and why adding it deliberately into your day can make such a difference to your well-being.
You will hear about the benefits of self-compassion for lowering stress and improving relationships and how these practices can improve your relationships; and how how self-compassion is helpful even in challenging situations.
If you want to keep your camera off, that’s fine.
I have practised mindfulness since the late 1980s, have taught mindfulness throughout Ireland and in London, have demonstrated mindfulness on ITV, RTE and TV3 and have had books on mindfulness published in several countries and several languages. These include Kindfulness – be a true friend to yourself with mindful self-compassion. My most recent book is Daily Calm – 100 daily reminders to help you build the mindfulness habit. My aim is to make mindfulness and mindful self-compassion easily accessible to people in their everyday lives.
What you learn will be enough to enable you to enjoy the benefits of self-compassion in your life, starting straight away.
